Intron Technology's Subsidiary G-Pulse Launches GRC1.0 High-Performance Controller Solution Based on D-Robotics RDK S100 Empowering Robotic Industry Scale Development with Automotive-Grade Capabilities

2025.07.24

(Hong Kong, July 24, 2025) - Intron Technology Holdings Limited ("Intron Technology" or the "Group"; HKEX: 1760), a leading automotive electronics solutions provider in China,  announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai G-Pulse Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. ("G-Pulse") entered into a partnership with D-Robotics, a leading provider of universal robotics hardware & software infrastructure, to develop controller products based on the D-Robotics RDK S100 robot development kit and officially launch the GRC1.0 high-performance controller solution. This collaboration aims to leverage mature technological expertise in the automotive electronics field to help overcome the scale bottleneck in the robotics industry, driving the mass production and deployment of intelligent robots across diverse scenarios. It also signifies Intron Technology's strategic expansion of its core capabilities from automotive electronics into the rapidly growing field of robotic intelligence, demonstrating its core value of driving multi-industry innovation through technology.

Directly addressing robotic industry pain points by leveraging automotive-grade expertise to enable streamlining

Currently, the intelligent robotics industry faces key challenges in the core controller field, including insufficient standardization, high costs of customized development, and difficulties in ensuring product consistency and yield rates, which significantly restrict large-scale applications. As a leading automotive electronics solutions provider, Intron Technology possesses strong automotive-grade technological expertise and extensive mass production experience in areas such as new energy, autonomous driving, body control, safety, and powertrain systems. It also has a deep understanding of the critical importance of high reliability, safety, and large-scale production for complex systems.

Through this cooperation, Intron Technology transfers mature automotive electronics expertise to the robotics field. At the same time, it will collaborate with automotive industry partners to jointly build a comprehensive standardized system covering R&D design, component selection, manufacturing processes, and testing and validation; providing standardized robotic controller products for the robotics industry and driving the transformation of intelligent robots from laboratory prototypes to industrial-grade products that are ready for mass production and deployment.

Intron Technology’s GRC1.0 solution builds the robot's "cerebellum" super-powered control hub

Intron Technology successfully developed the GRC1.0 high-performance controller solution based on the powerful RDK S100 robot development kit of D-Robotics. This product is designed for embodied intelligent robots and industrial automation scenarios, and has the following core advantages:

  • High-reliability system architecture: Inherits the strict design and verification process of automotive-grade products in terms of control logic and safety architecture to ensure stable operation in complex industrial environments and harsh operating conditions
  • Powerful real-time control capability: Supports dual-core expansion design, providing robust hardware support for robot "cerebellar" applications (such as real-time motion control and precise interaction) and meeting synchronization requirements in high-dynamic scenarios
  • Advanced technology integration: Integrate Intron Technology's advantages in key areas such as the integration of SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) technology to improve the environmental perception, positioning, navigation, and interaction accuracy of robots in complex scenarios
  • Mass production-friendly design: Adopt "industry-grade standards" and implement the principle of standardization throughout the entire process of research and development design, component selection, production technology, and testing verification to ensure product consistency and large-scale delivery capabilities.

The launch of the GRC1.0 controller not only addresses the core requirements of robot controllers in terms of reliability and real-time performance, but also significantly reduces the R&D barriers and supply chain management costs for robot manufacturers through standardization and modular design.

Combined strengths of technological ecosystem and cross-border integration usher new era of robot mass production

The cooperation with D-Robotics not only marks a significant stride for Intron Technology in its strategic deployment of robotic intelligence, progressing from blueprint to concrete execution, but also indicates that it has entered a substantive stage of migration of its mature experience in the automotive industry to the robotics sector on a large scale. Mr. Sam Qin, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer of Intron Technology, said, "Automotive electronics and robot control share deep commonalities in core technological dimensions such as reliability and real-time performance. This technological similarity lays a solid foundation for cross-domain empowerment. The implementation of Intron Technology's GRC1.0 high-performance controller culminates in the company's cross-domain application and deep refinement of its core automotive-grade technological advantages within robotics scenarios."

Going forward, Intron Technology will continue to intensify its ecosystem collaboration with D-Robotics and automotive industry partners, and deeply integrate supply chain resources, stringent quality control systems, and large-scale mass production experience from the automotive industry. Utilizing the mature automotive electronics ecosystem as a foundation, and by exploring technological commonalities and driving scenario-based innovation, they aim to launch more mature and comprehensive robot controller products to the market and jointly promote the accelerated development of the intelligent robotics industry; pressing the "fast-forward button" for the early arrival of the intelligent robotics era.
